Schools and Madaris
Recognizing the importance of education, SHED Foundation has established schools and madaris across the region, providing access to quality education for children in rural areas.
Clinics
Access to healthcare is crucial in remote areas. SHED Foundation operates clinics, ensuring that residents have access to basic medical services and treatments.
Well Digging & Maintenance
Water scarcity is a pressing issue in Thar. SHED Foundation undertakes the digging and maintenance of wells, providing communities with access to clean and safe drinking water.
Large and Small Wells
Large wells, with depths ranging from 150 to 200 feet, and small wells, with depths of 80 to 100 feet, have been constructed at various locations across Thar.
Impact and Outreach
Over 220 wells have been constructed and maintained in villages such as Umer Kot, Chachro, Islam Kot, Nanger Parker, Dehheli, and others, ensuring access to water for thousands of residents.
Estimated Cost and Charitable Work
- The estimated cost for large wells is approximately Rs. 375,000, while small wells range from Rs. 150,000 to Rs. 175,000.
- Any remaining funds are allocated towards the construction of additional wells or other charitable initiatives to further support the community.
