Empowering Youth Through SHED Scouts Open Group
Established in 2016 and registered with the Sindh Boys Scouts Association, the SHED Scouts Open Group is dedicated to nurturing the skills and talents of young individuals. Led by Group Scout Leader Mr. Mubeen Ashraf Hashmi and Scout Leader Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Ansari, our group is committed to providing meaningful experiences and opportunities for personal growth.
Fostering Responsibility and Leadership
- Scout activities serve as a platform for youth to showcase their inner skills and talents, fostering responsibility and leadership qualities.
- Through specialized training and mentorship, ordinary youth transform into responsible individuals, contributing positively to society.
Active Participation and Achievements
- In its inaugural year, the SHED Scouts successfully participated in the Private Institutions Boys Scout Mini Camporee in Mirpurkhas, Sindh, laying the foundation for future endeavors.
- Subsequent years saw the group’s active involvement in various events and activities, including badge ceremonies, training camps, and hiking expeditions, showcasing their dedication and enthusiasm.
- Notable achievements include winning the prestigious Quaid e Azam Badge, the highest rank badge for boys scouts of PBSA, signed by the Governor of Sindh, and securing top positions in provincial scout competitions.
Recognition and Success
- The dedication and achievements of our scouts have garnered recognition at both regional and provincial levels, with individuals receiving accolades such as the Chief Commissioner Award and top positions in provincial competitions.
